I’m Shane Rose (he/him)—founder and coach at Anchor Strength Co., and a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and NASM-Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC).
I started Anchor Strength Co. because I believe strength training should feel approachable, grounded, and sustainable—not intimidating, performative, or extreme. Too many people want to feel stronger and healthier but feel overwhelmed by gym culture, conflicting advice, or spaces that don’t fully respect who they are or where they’re starting from.
My coaching approach is simple and steady:
Build real, functional strength
Use nutrition as a practical tool, not a source of stress
Create consistency instead of all-or-nothing cycles
Meet people where they are and help them move forward with clarity
I work primarily with beginner to intermediate clients, with a strong focus on serving the LGBTQ+ community—especially people who haven’t always felt comfortable or supported in traditional fitness environments. Trust matters in coaching, and I aim to create a space where clients can be honest, ask questions, and focus on progress without judgment.
For clients interested in GLP-1s and/or testosterone replacement therapy, I provide non-medical fitness and nutrition coaching to support strength, health, and long-term success. I don’t provide medical treatment—but I do help clients navigate these paths thoughtfully and train and eat in ways that support their goals while on them.
At the core, Anchor Strength Co. is about building strength that lasts—physically, mentally, and as part of a broader, healthier life. No hype. No extremes. Just clear guidance, supportive coaching, and steady progress.
